Chocolate Brownie is a tasty Fudge made with Flour, Butter, Cocoa Powder, Sugar and Eggs. This dessert is generally loved by all and you can easily double it for making more quantity. If the baking temperature and measurement of ingredients is proper, then you can really make mouth melting Chocolate Brownies at home.

Chocolate Brownie Recipe is a cross between a cake and a cookie in texture, and it is available in a variety of forms. These Brownies are either fudgy or cakey, depending on their density, and they may include nuts, frosting, whipped cream, chocolate chips, or other ingredients.

Since my childhood I love the desserts made with Chocolate, especially Chocolate Cake, Chocolate Candy, Chocolate Mousse, Chocolate Swiss Roll, Chocolate Brownie Cake, and Chocolate Fudge, but after making this Chocolate Brownie at home, this is also included in my favorite’s list. When I was growing up and my mom would buy those little bags of miniature Hershey’s candy bars, I remember she’d go straight for the Special Dark chocolate bars.

For me, this Chocolate Brownie Recipe is one of the best Christmas or Birthday Treat to celebrate at home. For making these ultra-rich, ultra-decadent brownies, I used very simple and basic ingredients and of course good quality cocoa powder is absolutely necessary. Brownies are common lunchbox fare, typically eaten by hand, and often accompanied by milk or coffee. Chocolate Brownie Recipe – Step by Step

Beat the butter and sugar in a big bowl and keep aside. Sift maida in another big bowl and mix in cocoa powder in it. Add Baking Powder and mix it very well.

Chocolate Brownie Recipe is a tasty Fudge made with Flour, Butter, Cocoa Powder, Sugar and Eggs. It is a cross between a cake and a cookie in texture.

Ingredients

  • 85g all purpose flour (maida / refined flour)
  • 185g unsalted butter
  • 40g cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 275g sugar
  • 4 big eggs

Instructions

  1. Beat 185g unsalted butter and 275g sugar in a big bowl and keep aside.
  2. Sift 85g maida in another big bowl and mix in 40g cocoa powder in it.
  3. Add 2 tsp baking powder and 1 tsp vanilla essence in flour and cocoa mixture and mix it very well. Break all the lumps from the flour.
  4. Now beat 4 eggs one by one in flour mixture and whisk it thoroughly.
  5. Stir in prepared butter and sugar mixture in flour and gradually add 1 cup of warm milk.
  6. Mix all the ingredients of making brownie very well, so that there should not be any lump in it, otherwise brownie will not come out smooth and soft. You can use electric mixer for making the brownie batter.
  7. Grease the baking pan with some oil or butter and Pour the prepared brownie batter in a round or any shaped baking pan, scraping every bit out of the bowl with the spatula.
  8. Preheat the oven at 180C, put the baking pan in the oven and bake it for about 25-30 minutes, till the top of brownie becomes crusty with a slight wobble underneath. Check by inserting the knife or fork, your brownie is ready if the inserted knife comes out clean.
  9. Allow it to cool completely in baking pan and then lift out the brownie slowly from the baking pan and cut into quarters, squares or triangles just before serving.

Notes

These brownies are so addictive, you’ll want to make a second batch before the first is finished, you can keep it in an airtight container for a good two weeks and in the freezer for up to a month. If you are adding chocolate or chocolate chips in it, then you just need to melt the chocolate and butter in a bowl over a pan of simmering water, then slightly cool it down and then mix in flour mixture. If you want to make vegetarian Chocolate Brownie, then simply skip the eggs.
